UPPCS Registration 2026: How to Apply Online
UPPCS 2026 applications were accepted only online through the OTR-based system. Candidates first obtained a One Time Registration (OTR) number on otr.pariksha.nic.in, then applied on uppsc.up.nic.in in four stages: OTR authentication, application details, fee payment through SBI MOPS, and final printout. The window ran from 25 June to 27 July 2026, with corrections allowed until 3 August 2026.
The 2026 window has closed. This guide helps you check your submitted application and prepare for the separate Mains application after the Prelims on 6 December 2026.

2. Step 1: One Time Registration (OTR)
- Visit otr.pariksha.nic.in.
- Register with your personal details, category, domicile and contact information.
- Obtain the OTR number at least 72 hours before applying.
- Keep OTR details synchronised. Any change to OTR must be synced on the dashboard.
3. Step 2: The Four-Stage Online Application
- First stage: On uppsc.up.nic.in, open All Notifications / Advertisements, click Apply, then Authenticate with OTR using an OTP or OTR password. Your personal details auto-fill; enter your essential qualification.
- Second stage: On the Applicant Dashboard, submit details under Application Part-2 and answer Yes/No for each preferential qualification.
- Third stage: Pay the fee through SBI MOPS (net banking, card or other modes) and print the Payment Transaction Slip. If payment fails, use Pending Payment on the dashboard.
- Fourth stage: Print the completed application and keep it safe.

6. Documents to Keep Ready
- High School certificate (date of birth proof)
- Graduation and other degree mark sheets and certificates
- Caste, EWS, PwD, DFF, Ex-Servicemen or sports certificates in the prescribed format
- OTR number, application ID and payment slip
- Recent photographs and signature
Hard copies are not sent at the Prelims stage. Self-attested copies of all certificates must be submitted with the Mains application; missing documents lead to cancellation.

Can I change my category after the deadline?
No. Category and other details as claimed by the last date of modification are final.
What should I quote in letters to UPPSC?
Exam name, advertisement number, OTR number, application ID, name, date of birth, father's or husband's name and roll number if allotted.
