HPAS vs Other Exams: Which Fits Your Plan?
HPAS follows the UPSC CSE model of Prelims, Mains and interview, but with a Himachal focus, a higher upper age limit (35 vs 32 for General), no general attempt limit and qualifying English and Hindi papers. UPSC EPFO APFC is a single written test plus interview for a central Group-A post. Many aspirants prepare for HPAS and CSE together because of the large GS overlap.
